Ah, Love.

As philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, “There is always some madness in love, but there is also always some reason in madness.”

So, for this month of love, we bring you something of the madness and the reason of love.

First, we’re honored to be home to author Zach Shephard’s first published story, “Lovestruck,” in which Cupid is not quite the darling little rosie-cheeked cherub with the beribboned bow we’ve come to expect.

And in his third appearance with Flash Fiction Online, KJ Kabza presents “Surface Tension,” a sweet and surreal love story in which a trash bag makes it possible for one couple to connect.

And while we’re talking about love, be sure to ‘love’ us on Facebook and ‘stalk’ us on Twitter, then head over to our Flashblog to see what FFO blogger Bill Highsmith has been up to lately, and to link to a review of our January issue.
