Sam Weiss is an applied mathematician who loves genre fiction, unreservedly, and has for as long as she can remember. She lives in the greater Boston area with her wonderful nerdy husband and two cats who are presently annoyed that she’s using her laptop for typing this bio instead of playing bird videos. Jennie Evenson lives in LA with her spouse, two kids, and a Cairn terrier that looks like Toto. She holds an MFA from UCLA and a PhD in Renaissance Studies from the University of Michigan. This flash fiction story grows out of a clear pattern of bardolatry in her life.
