Jennie Evenson lives in LA with her spouse, two kids, and a Cairn terrier that looks like Toto. She holds an MFA from UCLA and a PhD in Renaissance Studies from the University of Michigan. This flash fiction story grows out of a clear pattern of bardolatry in her life.
