Andrew K Hoe is a speculative fiction and children’s author whose work appears in Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Diabolical Plots, Highlights for Children, and other venues. The story “Vinegar-Gurgle” was written as a way of dealing with two real-life Asian hate incidents. Andrew is extremely grateful that FFO believes in it, and in weird horror as a medium that entertains, makes social statements, and shows us we’re not as alone as racism makes us feel.
