Daniel Roop is an active member of the HWA. His speculative work has appeared or is forthcoming in publications including Apex Magazine, The Deadlands, Pseudopod, Space & Time, and others. He has performed poetry across the U.S. including featuring at the Nuyorican Poets’ Cafe, and he finished in the top ten at the National Poetry Slam three times. He is a seventh generation East Tennessean, and his favorite superhero is Kitty Pryde.
