Jennifer Lesh Fleck
Jennifer Lesh Fleck is an emerging fiction writer and past Pushcart nominee for poetry, with previous stories published in Flash Fiction Online, Small Wonders, Trollbreath, Cosmic Horror Monthly, Tales to Terrify, If There’s Anyone Left, NoSleep, Chthonic Monthly Quarterly, Heartlines Spec, and the 2023 Shirley Jackson Award winner for best anthology, among others. Ellen Datlow recommended two of Jen’s anthologized stories in The Best Horror of the Year, Vol. 17.
She lives near Portland, OR, with her family and two dogs in a home that’s a dead ringer for the Amityville Horror House, though repainted a cheery jade green. Her work is often informed by the challenges of lifelong hidden disability from a rare inherited disorder, and she’s the grateful recipient of the 2025 Superstars Expanding Universe scholarship.
