Laura Duerr is a speculative fiction writer and freelancer whose work has appeared in Cast of Wonders, Metaphorosis, Escape Pod, and Shoreline of Infinity. While her favorite genre is science fiction prose, she is enough of a poet to have once won a prize for it. A lifelong Pacific Northwest resident, she lives in Washougal, WA, with her husband.
