Rebecca Halsey is the author of the historic romance novel Notes of Temptation. Her short fiction has most recently appeared in Ghost Parachute and The Bookends Review. She holds an MFA degree in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University.​ Her nonfiction writing has been a byproduct of her work in the cybersecurity industry where her analysis has covered cybersecurity trends, eCrime threats, hacktivism, and targeted intrusion adversaries worldwide. She has been part of Flash Fiction Online staff off and on since 2016, most recently taking on the roles of editor-in-chief and publisher.

Jacob Baugher is a writer and musician originally from Baltimore, Maryland who fell in love with Northeast Ohio. He is the creator and co-host of the Archetypist substack and podcast. After earning his M.F.A. in fiction from Seton Hill University in 2017, he taught creative writing and composition at a small university in the Ohio Valley. Currently, he works for the public library system and runs creative writing and reading programs, plays in the queer-fronted emo band Cokeworks, and lives a not-that-quiet life with his wife, two sons, two dogs, and two cats. Also, he pretends to like running.

Jason Pearce is an Ontario-based fiction writer whose short stories have appeared in various literary journals and anthologies, including Grain, Knucklehead Noir, Solstice in Purgatory, and Wondershift: Stories of Transformation and Change. A proud alumnus of the Audible Indigenous Writer’s Circle, Jason is of Mi’kmaw and English descent. He is currently finishing his first novel with the generous assistance of the Ontario Arts Council.

Emlyn Meredith Dornemann is a queer fantasy and horror writer living in Milwaukee, WI, with their husband and two cats. Their work has previously appeared in Trollbreath Magazine, Flash Point SF, and on The No Sleep Podcast. They are an alum of the Stonecoast MFA program.

Kel Coleman is an Ignyte-nominated author, whose fiction has appeared in FIYAH, Anathema: Spec from the Margins, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2022 and 2024, and others. Though Kel is a Marylander at heart, they currently live in Pennsylvania with their husband, tiny human, and a stuffed dragon named Pen.

Deanna J. Valdez is a proud Filipina Canadian with a deep love for folklore, fairy tales, eldritch horrors and mythical retellings. She obtained an English Literature degree from McGill University and currently lives in Montreal, Canada. You can usually find her at dim sum, wandering the Old Port, or running to a dance class.

S.L. Harris is a writer, educator, and sometime archaeologist who can be found digging in gardens, libraries, tea cabinets, and ancient houses. His fiction has appeared in venues like Strange Horizons, Apex, and Lightspeed. Originally from Appalachia, he currently lives in the Midwest with his wife, two children, and many books.
