Our publication timing brought us closer to Halloween, which is great for some scary stories — but it also brought us closer to the Frankenstorm that’s rising in the East. Best wishes to all those affected by the storm as these pages go live.
Two great new stories — Zombie March by Brynn MacNabb, and Mid-Autumn Moon by Lani Carroll — are brief enough to read even as the waters are rising, and if you need to wait until afterwards for Kafka’s A Fratricide… well, it can wait, since it’s been waiting since 1917.
Be safe and dry. And if you’re not on the East Coast, send good vibrations our way, and have a spooky time.
